Our story
Ring Dragon Martial Arts is an off-shoot of the Hill’s Hitters, non-traditional Tang Soo Do karate school in Silver Spring, Maryland. Hill’s Hitters was founded by Ron Hill, run by his brother, Dr. Phillip Hill for over 30yrs and is now run by Anson Obayuwana. Master Instructor, Paul McFarland began training in 1984, received his Black Belt from the Hill’s Hitters program and now leads the Ring Dragon Martial Arts school.
Ring Dragon is also a non-traditional Tang Soo Do based martial arts program but with additional influences from both Boxing and Muay Thai. We do not teach forms, jump in the air or break boards here. We are a martial arts school that places our focus on stretching, calisthenics, strength and condition training, pad work, fighting and fight related drills.
